Our Mission

Working to significantly reduce incidents of homicide, suicide and acts of violence resulting from the irresponsible use of firearms by high risk individuals.

Our Events

The Ayana J. McAllister Legacy Foundation hosts, co-sponsors, attends public events and facilitates presentations about relevant and timely issues around gun violence in vulnerable communities. We also sponsor meetings, workshops and working groups that bring together legislators, policymakers, and practitioners to proactively address and reduce incidences of gun violence.

Our Scholarships

Ayana J. McAllister was a student at St. Augustine’s University, majoring in criminal justice, when she was killed.  While she had aspirations to become a law enforcement professional, she had a desire to help at-risk, disenfranchised youth to live up to their full potential.  The Ayana J. McAllister Legacy Foundation will continue her legacy by providing some support to students determined to further their education. The Ayana J. McAllister Legacy Foundation will provide several scholarships each year to deserving students.
